Wednesday the 30th of May,18. Embassy Of Peru

Attended an event hosted by the Embassy of Peru celebrating the 1st Anniversary of the Art Gallery of the Embassy of Peru 🇵🇪. It was also the 1st anniversary celebration of INPEFA – Indo Peruvian Friendship Association. They inaugurated the rich tapestries of Peru.
The fun and informative cocktails event was attended by media and special guest invited. I was amazed by the conversations about the rich Peruvian art, culture, food and textiles.

Officially the ‘Republic of Peru’ is a country in western South America. It is bordered in the north by Ecuador and Colombia, in the east by Brazil, in the southeast by Bolivia, in the south by Chile and in the west by the Pacific. Peruvian region was home to several ancient cultures, including the ‘Norte Chico Civilisation’ in the 32nd century BC, the oldest civilisation in the America.

Peruvian Culture has major roots of Amerindian and Spanish traditions, which is also influenced by various Asian, African and other European ethnic groups. Peruvian artistic traditions date back to the elaborate pottery, textiles, jewelry, and sculpture of ‘Pre-Inca’ Cultures. [ Know More About Inca Culture ] Peruvian literature is rooted in the oral traditions of pre Colombian civilizations. Spaniards introduced writing in the 16th century; colonial literary expression included Chronicles and religious literature. Peruvian Food is inspired from Amerindian and Spanish with strong influences from Chinese, African, Arab, Italian and Japanese cuisine.

I was amazed to see the unique textiles and handicrafts of Peru. And it was such a delight to see a lot of similarities with the art and textiles from the north east of India.
It is so fascinating to witness such diverse cultures and geographic distance still so much similarities.
Cheers! to the Indo Peruvian friendship.

Indian Ethnic Jewellery

Hello Fellas!! Hope you guys are doing great.

Tried creating a look book with Indian Ethnic Jewellery with few pieces which I really love. These are simple pieces yet looks great when paired up with a saree, kurta or a fusion wear.

The history of Indian Jewellery is very fascinating and glorious and its almost 5000 years old. Almost all the invasions and flights happened as the world was attracted to our country because of its precious stones, gold and silver.

Nevertheless, Lets keep this huge history aside and talk about the small look book I created.

img_3973

Deceuninck products are used worldwide in varied climatic conditions i.e., tropical climates like that of Chile/Brazil or hot climates like in the Middle East or the high UV areas in parts of Australia. As for India, at a time when New Delhi and other parts of India are struggling to keep its noise and air pollution under permissible limits and extreme temperatures at bay, Deceunincks UPVC Doors, and Windows will help in reducing the noise and pollution levels considerably and save individuals from extreme hot weathers.

Satish Kumar, Country Manager, Deceuninck, avers, Noise is a major issue in most cities across India considering the traffic snarls, urbanization and rapid increase in metro network. Opportunity for growth:

Deceuninck is betting on the Indian markets huge growth potential and the demand in housing sector increasing every year, especially in the urban and semi-urban areas.

On how lucrative the Indian market is for Deceuninck, Francis VanEeckhout, CEO, Deceuninck says, India has a very high potential considering the growth of housing sector in India, implementation of new policies like RERA, GST, lower interest rates, higher disposable income in the mid-high end segment, affordable home sector growing at a fast pace given its infrastructure status and of course better informed, internet-savvy  customers of today. Indian consumers are gradually understanding the necessity of high-quality windows behind the glamorous curtains. We plan to be in both the projects and the retail segment in India. Envisaging the retail customers demand various color profiles, we stock a wide range of white as well as color laminated profiles. Our new custom built 35000 sqft warehouse in Chennai stocks nearly 500 tonnes of profiles at any point in time to support our customer’s needs. he adds. India, a country that is developing at a fast pace and increasingly registering its positive presence on a global platform has everything in its favor except the pollution level. It is a glaring fact that World Health Organisation has identified 13 cities of India among the list of most polluted cities of the world with New Delhi securing number second position. So, at a time when New Delhi and other parts of India are struggling to keep its noise and air pollution under permissible limits and extreme temperatures at bay, the opening of 1st experiential store of Belgium-based brand Deceuninck (dealing in UPVC Door & Window system) can rightfully help in reducing the noise and pollution levels considerably and save individuals from extreme hot weathers.
