Yet another hunt for an exquisite eatery in Goa and this time I hooped into Habanero Goa’s first Tex-Mex restaurant. This place offers all three classic, Mexican food, Tex-mex creation and Taxas Influenced American dishes.
Habanero is a dream project of a couple Griffith David, a native Indian and Elizabeth Bowden David, a US citizen. Spending several years in the southwest of U.S. they have naturally inherited the fun culture and the flavours of the Mexican boarder cuisine. Now, residing in Bangalore from past 6 years, they are well versed with the high energy, fun culture and authentic tastes travellers and residents are looking for.
Habanero Goa is the successful franchise led by the dynamic brother sister duo, Pooja & Rohan Ghotage. Over the years Taxan and Mexican cuisines have evolved & commingled into what now called Tex-Mex. At Habanero you get the perfect blend of this cuisine. Right from Nachoes, burritos, quesadillas and burgers. Classic drinks like margaritas and sangria go perfectly with this cuisines. They also have a in-house micro brewery from where you can select your own pitcher or small samplers of IPA etc. Live music, dance floor and live sports, all this you can get under the same roof. A family get together or chilling out friends, Habanero is the perfect place. This restaurant has won many coveted awards including ‘Restaurant India 2017’ and ‘The Goan Foodie Awards’
